Windsor FC conceded two late goals on Saturday to lose 3-1 at Oxhey Jets in Combined Counties Division One.

The Jacks missed three guilt-edged chances in the first-half to put their noses in front and were punished as Dominic Mosca curled an effort into the top corner from the edge of the penalty box.

The visitors managed to haul themselves level after the break when Troy Williams headed Ethan Kemp’s delightful cross into the back of the net.

However, Toju James and David Miguel were on hand to steal the three points with two goals in the final five minutes.

With the potential for a Wembley final should the Royalists continue to impress, players put on a show for the near-300 in attendance as Windsor and Eton took a break from league action.

Pawel Kowalkowski opened the scoring from the penalty spot, courtesy of some help from the goalkeeper’s head, while Sean McDonnell doubled the lead on the half-hour mark.

Kowalkowski rounded the keeper to secure himself a brace just 120 seconds into the second half before Isaiah Chase and Shaquille Johnson finished off the scoring in the final 15 minutes.
The tie for the next round is set to take place on December 7.

One competition Matt Angell’s side won’t be progressing in, however, is the Berks and Bucks Senior Cup after a 2-1 defeat to Aylesbury United on Tuesday.

Toby Bridges put the hosts into a first-half lead but Liam Batchelor-Morgan and Luqman Kassim turned the tie on its head to send the Royalists out.
