This year is set to be a new era at Slough Town after the club announced that they have accepted an offer to sell the majority shareholding of the club.
A23 Football Group Ltd, who own businesses in the football and education sectors, are awaiting approval from the Football Association and the National League before the takeover can be officially confirmed.
A statement from the club confirmed that ‘current directors Mike Lightfoot and Kay Lathey will remain working within the day to day operations, retain a minority share in the club and then join a newly formed board.’

Taking to social media to share his delight, first team manager Scott Davies said it was “great news for all involved.”
