BOYNE Hill’s poor run of form saw them drop to seventh in the Division One table following an eight-wicket thrashing at the hands of Gerrards Cross, writes Richard Ashton.
The hosts lost the toss and were asked to bat, and with only Chris Shave (21) and Aussie Matt Leipold (20) reaching 20, they were shot out for just 98 before Gerrards Cross eased to 99-2 in 22.2 overs.

North Maidenhead moved back up to second after beating Cove by 89 runs.
Fahim Qureshi (57)Atif Khan (50) and Usman Ilyas (46) were all among the runs as Maids posted 223-5 in their 50 overs, and that proved more than enough as Cove were dismissed for 134.
Mirban Saleem (4-38) and Ilyas (3-23) were the pick of the visitors’ bowling line-up.

Stoke Green dropped to third after being crushed by eight wickets at home to Slough 2nds.
Saqlain Basharat (51no) was the only batsman to get going as Stoke Green made 156-7 in their rain-shortened 35 overs, Ali Hussain (3-20) taking three early wickets to cause the hosts early problems.
Slough had no issues knocking off the target as Rahim Akhtar (69no) and Feroz Baig (47) guided them to 157-2 with almost 10 overs to spare.

Division 2a basement boys Windsor endured another tough afternoon as they lost by six wickets at Amersham 2nds.
Tom Edwards (91) and Ollie Jordan (45no from 40 balls) led Windsor to 225-7, but Amersham replied with 229-4 with 21 balls in hand.

David Goodman took 5-32 and Don Pike scored an unbeaten 50 as third-placed Boyne Hill 2nds (142-6) beat Slough 3rds (137) by four wickets in Division 3a.
No. 9 Jack Barton struck 63 not out to rescue Farnham Royal (252-9) from a shaky 142-7 as they beat Cove 2nds (135) by 117 runs.
Joe Masih grabbed 4-21 for Royal, who visit Falkland 2nds tomorrow.
Division 3b leaders Datchet 2nds (208-9) beat Kew 2nds (156) by 52 runs thanks to fine performances from Tom Jones (76) and Tim Alldis (4-29).
Arslan Yaseen took 3-41 as second-placed Wraysbury (203-6) beat Gerrards Cross 2nds (199-9) by four wickets.
Jayesh Mohan top-scored with 56 for Wraysbury, who host NPL tomorrow.
Sajid Aziz’s 3-37 proved in vain for Burnham 2nds (183) as they were edged out by three runs at home to Chiswick & Whitton (186-7).
Hayat Khan grabbed 4-53, but Taplow (159) lost by 45 runs to second-bottom OMT.
Taplow travel to High Wycombe 3rds tomorrow.
Simon Jessup’s wonderful unbeaten 96 guided Division 4a promotion-chasers White Waltham (210-4) to a six-wicket success at North Maidenhead 2nds (209-8).
He received useful support from Rahul Mohindru (4-40) and Andy Elliott (55).

In Division 4b, Stoke Green 2nds (185) lost to Amersham 3rds (206-3) by 21 runs.
James Le Fleming (4-37) and Rory Millar (62no) were the stars of the show as Cookham Dean 2nds (147-1) hammered Wooburn Narkovians (144) by nine wickets.
Farnham Common (204) went down by 49 runs at home to Hayes 2nds (253-7) in Division 5a.

Muhamad Saba (4-24) and Shafaqat Ali (4-36) starred for Burnham 3rds (152-6) as they beat Chalfont St Peter (151) by four wickets.
Table-toppers Taplow 2nds (127-5) beat Wraysbury 2nds (126) by five wickets on the back of a fine spell from Farhad Abbas (4-35).
Ashish Kapila (88) and Naser Parvez (59no) fired Boyne Hill 3rds (248-8) to a 109-run success against Falkland 3rds (139), Steve Abraham grabbing 4-10.
Second-placed Farnham Common 2nds all but confirmed promotion from Division 6a with a dramatic two-run triumph at the team one below them in the standings, White Waltham 2nds.
Skipper Sami Niese made 93 to guide Common to 231 despite the best efforts of Andrew Parham (7-48).
Ali Damirchi struck 71 in reply, but Waltham eventually fell to 229 all out in reply.
Nigel Field (69) and Yusuf Chaudi (55) batted well for Farnham Royal 2nds (188-8), but they lost by eight wickets to Chesham 3rds (189-2).
Ollie Birch blasted an unbeaten 94 to inspire Windsor 2nds (266-6) to an emphatic 139-run victory at Barnes Wild Geese (127). Dean Bean shone with the ball for Windsor, snaring 4-32.
In Division 7a, Kashif Hashmi made 53 for Slough 5ths (160), but they were thumped by 114 runs at table-toppers Yateley (274-5).
Imran Khan’s 4-25 helped Datchet 3rds (76-0) thump Harefield 3rds (73) by 10 wickets in Division 7b, while Stoke Green 3rds (164-1) suffered a nine-wicket loss to OMT 2nds (165-1).
Rock bottom Burnham 4ths (176) lost to Tring Park 4ths (195-5) by 19 runs.
Relegation-threatened Boyne Hill 4ths (127-9) lost by seven wickets to Bradfield 2nds (130-3) in Division 8a, but Cookham Dean 3rds eased past Kew 4ths by seven wickets in Division 8b.
James Taylor took 5-24 as Kew were knocked over for 128, and Tom Wells-Cole then struck 51 as the Dean cruised to 129-3.
Armaghan Ahmad’s unbeaten 64 inspired Farnham Common 3rds (107-8) to a tense two-wicket triumph at home to Ruislip 2nds (103).
Division 9a table-toppers Datchet 4ths (46-9) won an extraordinary game with Marlow Park (45) by one wicket.
James Roberts took 4-14 and Amar Sekhon blasted an unbeaten 61 from 57 balls to fire Stoke Green 4ths (123-3) to a seven-wicket success against Reading 4ths (122).
Ata Anwar made 55 not out to guide Slough 6ths (90-6) to a four-wicket victory against Newbury 3rds (89-8).
In Division 9b, Windsor 3rds (114) lost to NPL 3rds (137) by 23 runs.
