FARNHAM Royal welcomed several clubs for a Friendly Festival on Sunday which was well-received by all involved.
The day was a great success with all clubs wishing to return next season as well as arranging fixtures for the coming season.
The Royals kicked of the day and played great rugby with teams from Barnet, Chesham, and Hillingdon among the many that travelled.
Blessed with the weather and the volunteers who helped on the day from parking to food organisation, it was a smoothly run event.
All the teams played rugby in the spirit it was intended even lending players to teams who were short on numbers as the event progressed.
There were no winners or losers, just a great day of rugby, when 10 teams played in two groups of five and four games.
Anyone who maybe interested in getting involved, be it senior or junior, the club will be having a free Open Day on April 8.
