WINDSOR, Slough, Eton & Hounslow Athletes dominated the National Rankings for 2012 it was revealed this week.
No fewer than 14 members were awarded top rank in their events with a further 15 making the first three.
Pride of place goes to 16-year-old multi-eventer Morgan Lake who claimed first place in the under-17 [U17] heptathlon and leapt to the top of the high jump and long jump honours list.
A leap of 1.80 metres [m] in the high jump elevated Lake to seventh in the senior list. The teenage sensation also finished third in the U17 shot put rankings.
Oldest to top the tree is long-term WSEH member Neil Griffin in the vet-60 shot and discus while Jude Compton-Stewart - javelin -is the youngest, aged just 12. Compton-Stewart ended the calendar year 2m clear of his nearest rival.
Lawrence Clarke, a London 2012 Olympic Games finalist, leads the way in the 110m hurdles division with Jacob Paul similarly placed in the U20 400m hurdles event.
Stephanie Clitheroe finished runner-up in the U17 80m hurdles whilst Alex Walker is number three in the U17 100m hurdles listings.
Talented sprinter Sophie Papps is the nation's leading U20 100m runner and second best in the 200m event.
Taylor Campbell is yet another WSEH thrower to excel, leading the U17 hammer charts, leaving training partner Jake Norris in his wake - third in the U15 category. Janet Smith is ranked second in the vet 45 category.
Decathlete exponent Ashley Bryant tops the U23 age group and sits second in the senior list.
Dan Pembroke has annexed UK age records en-route through the javelin throw. He ends 2012 second in the U23 category and fourth in the senior lists.
In total 65 WSEH athletes made the top-10 in the 2012 National Rankings with a further 32 in the top-20, a clear indication of the strength in depth within the club.
