LANGLEY could be split in two between Slough and Windsor under a proposed boundary shake-up in England’s electoral map in 2023.
The Boundary Commission for England published their initial nationwide review into Parliamentary constituencies in England today (Tuesday, June 8).
They say redrawing the political map will give each MP a roughly similar number of voters.

The total number of seats in the House of Commons will stay at 650 – but England could get an extra 10 MPs, Wales losing eight, and Scotland could be cut by two.
In the shake-up, Slough could split Langley with Windsor as Foxborough, and Langley Kedermister wards could fall under Windsor whereas Slough would retain Langley St Mary’s.
Meanwhile, Egham, which falls under Surrey, could also join Windsor MP Adam Afriyie’s constituency in the latest changes.
In 2016, the Boundary Commission for England was eyeing “to increase the number of electors in the Windsor constituency” by transferring Chalvey from Slough to the area – but did not go through.
Slough's MP Tan Dhesi said: "The review of parliamentary constituencies is a crucial democratic step.
"I will be engaging fully and constructively in the consultation, after having reviewed in detail with local colleagues the Boundary Commission's initial proposals laid out today for Slough."

In the past review in 2016, no alterations were proposed or made for Maidenhead. However, under the new suggestions, Maidenhead could gain three wards from Bracknell Forest.
These include Ascot, Winkfield and Cranbourne, and Binfield and Warfield.
On the other hand, Maidenhead could lose Twyford to Wokingham and Sonning, which is where Former Prime Minister and Maidenhead MP Theresa May lives, to Earley and Woodley.
