A chocolate bar which is sold at supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons has been recalled due to a possible health risk.

Perkier Foods is recalling its Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate bar because it contains almonds (nuts), which are not mentioned on the label.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said: "This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to almonds (nuts)."

The Perkier Foods chocolate bar being recalled

Perkier Foods is recalling any of its Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Bar multipacks (3 x 37g) with the best before date of October 8, 2025 as the product contains nuts not mentioned on the label.

No other items have been affected by this issue.

Perkier said it apologised for any inconvenience caused by the product recall.

The company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations and issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers - which explains why the product is being recalled and what to do if they have bought the product.
