Preparations are underway for a popular family kite festival to return to one of Maidenhead’s parks.
The town’s Community Kite Festival at Boyn Grove Park is set to take place at the end of summer.
At the event, visitors can enjoy flying self made, pre-owned or shop-bought kites at the park, alongside live music, food, and drinks.
The kite festival is held by the Norden Farm Centre Trust, the main arts and performances charity in Maidenhead.
Norden Farm is holding kite-making workshops for children and families ahead of the event.
Workshops are being held on three days in August for a fee of £6 to take part.
The days will be split into two sessions, with the earliest taking place from 2pm-3pm with the other running from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
The sessions are being held on Saturday, August 5, Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19.
You can buy tickets on the Norden Farm website.
The Community Kite Festival takes place from 12pm to 4pm on Sunday, September 3.
In preparation for the event, the organisers have applied to sell alcohol, have live music and hold performances in a licensing application to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
Anyone wishing to make a representation can do so by emailing licensing@rbwm.gov.uk .
The last day for representations is Wednesday, June 21.
