A SERIES of unplanned power cuts have hit parts of Slough since yesterday afternoon.
Households and businesses are finding themselves without electricity in some corners of the town.
According to the power track map on the Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks' website, there are outages in the Lent Rise Area, Burnham, Slough.

One of the first reports of an outage was made at 4pm yesterday (June 6).
These are the postcodes in Slough currently affected - SL1 7BG, SL1 7BW, SL1 7LY and SL1 7NA.
The electricity network company confirmed that engineers are on site working to get the power back on.

SSE said: "We’re sorry for the loss of supply. We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed. Our engineers are on site working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can."
Power is expected to be back on at 12pm today.
