Police across the Thames Valley region have been extra vigilant following a recent increase in thefts.
The team from the rural crime taskforce posted on social media that on Monday, December 12 they conducted a number of stop checks on vehicles with trailers.
This follows thefts of vehicles across the region.
The vehicles stopped included a trailer carrying a quad bike and a vehicle with a horse box attached.
PC’s Dollery and Akers conducted these patrols for the Thames Valley Police rural crime taskforce.
TVP stated online: “The quad bike was checked on several systems as we have had several stolen recently.
“The officers have also patrolled hare coursing hotspots and engaged with local gamekeepers.”
