A man is in hospital after being assaulted in Slough town centre.
At approximately 11.40pm on Wednesday in the High Street, close to the junction of Park Street, a man in his forties was assaulted.
The victim sustained a broken nose, which required treatment in hospital, where they remain at this time.
A 29-year-old man from Ealing has been arrested on suspicion of assault, and has been released on police bail until February 2025.
Investigating officer PC Catherine Ealing, based at Slough police station, said: “We are appealing for information following this incident.
“We are asking anyone who lives in the area and may have witnessed the incident or have doorbell footage to please get in touch.
"Anyone with information can make a report online or call 101 quoting reference 43240575201.
“If you do not wish to speak to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
