Thames Valley Police have banned drone owners to operate the unmanned aircraft within a five km radius of Heathrow Airport.
As part of the air navigation order, authorities have made it illegal to operate flying objects where they could be endangering the safety of an aircraft taking off or returning to Heathrow airport.
The order that has been applied is the air navigation order 2016.
Offenders could face a number of penalties if caught flying a drone or UAV in the area which includes different areas in Slough.
If a drone were to endanger the safety of aircraft, the offender could end up with five years imprisonment.
A £2,500 fine could also be imposed if they caused/permitted the flight of an unmanned aircraft within the restriction area.
