A nursery has started a new initiative to offer free childcare for siblings.
The Old Station Nursery Taplow hopes this will help more families in the community who are struggling with the cost of childcare.
Nursery manager Maria Manez said: "We want to make nursery education as accessible as possible for the families in our community, and this new offer is a significant step towards achieving that.
"We welcome all to tour our nursery and see the activities we offer, which are designed to foster a child’s curiosity and development alongside The Old Station Nursery Group’s bespoke curriculum, the Brighter Learning Approach, which aims to enhance the EYFS, ensuring that all children develop a life-long love for learning."
The nursery believes that the benefits of nursery education are well known, helping with cognitive, social, and physical development, boosting confidence and independence, and preparing children for school.
But with nursery fees a big part of household spending, many families struggle to afford it.
The new initiative will allow more children to benefit from nursery education, while allowing parents to return to work.
Ms Manez added: "We offer weekly cookery and age-appropriate language classes to enhance the early years education programme and deliver these in a Montessori-inspired way that follows a philosophy of children better reaching their potential when submersed in a thoughtfully prepared environment that introduces new concepts to children at their own pace."
