A crowd fundraiser has been launched to help a man with an incurable muscle disease replace his wheelchair.
Debra Keable, 65, has launched a fundraiser to help her son, Oliver, replace his wheelchair after it has become incompatible.
The 35-year-old was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a muscle-wasting disease, when he was four and a half years old.

He has had his current wheelchair for about 15 years but it has become incompatible with the current stage of his condition and is causing pain and discomfort.
Ms Keable, from Slough, hopes to raise £23,367. So far, she has raised £3,735.
Writing online about her fundraiser, she said: “My name is Debra Keable, I'm 65 years old and I am asking and assisting my son Oliver Keable to raise funds for a replacement wheelchair.
“Oliver is my only child and he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a muscle wasting disease, which is progressive and life-limiting with no cure, at the age four and a half.
“He was only given a life expectancy of 16 years and thankfully Oliver is 35 years old this year. Oliver is an amazing, strong person and his fight to live is phenomenal.
“Oliver’s current powered wheelchair is 15 years old and severely incompatible with Oliver's current stage of his condition.

“It's absolutely heartbreaking to see as a mother how much pain and discomfort Oliver is in.
“Oliver is unable to use his controls and has to be assisted by myself, his retired father and carers.
“The seating is no longer supportive and is causing pain and discomfort. The only independence Oliver had left has now also been taken away.
“We are asking for donations to fund the chair he needs to be able to get the little independence he is able to have back as his is unable to do anything for himself and his chair is his lifeline to all the hobbies he enjoys including going to the movies and above everything going to wrestling events.
“Unfortunately, in the UK, we receive no help with funding for the chair Oliver needs and with being over 18 years old he is above the age limit for any foundations to help.
“Please help my son get his life back. Thank you very much for your support and any donations we receive.”
