A new 20 miles per hour zone could be introduced on Bath Road in Colnbrook under new plans being considered by Slough Borough Council.
Draft spending plans published by the council last week suggest it hopes to make £100,000 next year from bus lanes, 20 miles per hour limits and borough-wide parking controls.
A council spokesperson told the Observer the proposed speed limit would apply to the main road running through the village near Heathrow.
The council said: “The 20mph limit is something requested by Colnbrook Parish Council and it refers to the High St/Park St/Bath Road section and Vicarage Way in Colnbrook.

“This would be introduced under an experimental scheme and is due to be implemented over the coming months.”
The spokesperson also said the new speed limit would be introduced alongside a new controlled parking zone – part of parking controls being rolled out across the borough.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson said that bus lanes in Slough would ‘remain the same’ under the proposed savings plan.
However they said the lanes may be shortened near junctions to help cars turning left across them. And they said a short stretch of bus lane on Wellington Street in Slough town centre could be removed.
The proposals are part of early-stage budget plans, which can be viewed on the council’s website along with a survey open to residents. The final version will be voted on by councillors in February next year.
