Wycombe Cadets have been hard at work tonight helping the police with their 'house in darkness' campaign.
Any houses that were in darkness and therefore attractive to burglars received a note through their door asking them to consider leaving a light on when they were out for the evening or overnight.
No need to leave a light on all night, by using a timer switch you can time your lamps to come on and go off at a time you choose.
These can be purchased online for around £5-£10 and can really help deter burglars.
A spokesperson said "Thank you to our cadets for their commitment and enthusiasm- we think at least 50 houses had advice delivered."
