Police have held a community event in Windsor to give advice around staying safe while out shopping in the run up to Christmas.
A Thames Valley Police officer attended Willows Riverside Park on Tuesday for a monthly 'Have Your Say'.
A spokesperson from the force said: "The topic of this month was keeping safe when shopping in the run up to Christmas
"The residents were very pleased with the information and advice given."
Shoppers are advised not walk around a high street or town centre with your phone in your hand, as this is easy for thieves to grab.
Shoppers are also advised to check that no one is trying to look at their bank card pin number when entered.
For those driving to go Christmas shopping, any shopping bags should be placed in a boot of a car if possible.
