Police have begun an investigation after a 65-year-old man was found dead in his house in Maidenhead.
The force received a call on Monday, November 11 to reports that the man, who lived on Ray Street, had been found deceased inside his property.
An investigation is underway in its early stages, and there is a police presence in the area while inquiries are being conducted.
Detective Chief Inspector Quoc Vo said: “We are working with the Coroner to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a 65-year-old man, and it is currently being treated as unexplained.
“We are asking for any members of the public to come forward if you saw a man, who is a leg amputee, on a red or burgundy mobility scooter the day before, on Sunday 10 November.
“If you have any dash-cam or doorbell footage of this man, please get in touch by reporting online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240545118.
“If any member of the public has any concern or wish to flag something to officers, please don’t hesitate to speak to any of them at the scene.
“The man’s next of kin are aware and are being offered support at this time. My thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult time.”
