Officers and a flying association came together for a 'unique experience' this week.

Team members from the Windsor Neighbourhood Team came together in Windsor Great Park with the Windsor Great Park Flying Association this week.

The groups shared stories about flying and the community. They worked together to fly different models in the park.

Writing about it online, Thames Valley Police Windsor and Maidenhead said: "It was fantastic to see both groups connecting, sharing stories, and learning from one another while flying through the stunning skies of the park.

"A perfect blend of community spirit, teamwork, and aviation fun. Here’s to more moments of collaboration and soaring to new heights together.

"The Windsor Model Flying Association was originally established in 1972 as a place where like minded people could meet up and fly their models in splendid surroundings.

"We cater for all types of radio controlled fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.

"The group offers the opportunity to meet and socialise with other fellow model aircraft enthusiasts.

The association operates under the British Model Flying Association which ensures that they meet all the latest rules and regulations for safety and enjoyment.

They welcome new members to join them either with or without previous flying. experience.
