A concerned resident has once again come forward after further truths have come out about a housing association group.

Robbie Wilson, who lives at Bodley House in Iver, previously came forward to express his distress at  the state of the L&Q property.

Speaking directly with The Observer, he said that the property had a bedbug issue for months with management ignoring the resident's call for help.

When they did send professionals to look into the problem, they arrived in hasmat suits, clearly indicating the risk to people's health.

Since then further residents of other L&Q properties have come forward to share that they're very much in the same boat.

"Nothing is being done," Mr Wilson said. "You can see insects running around and residents are still having to live there.

"They are being eaten alive!"

As previously reported, the situation was so dire at Bodley House that a bed-bound elderly woman has been taken to hospital after experiencing severe bites all over her body.

"It's bad all the way through now, and has been like that for months," a family member, who asked not to be named said. "L&Q are doing nothing about it. One of the residents went into hospital and now isn't returning to the home."

The family member went on to say that all of the residents are being bitten by the pests and no one is doing anything, despite every room being infested and residents and family continuing to ask L&Q for help.

Other than the family member raising these concerns, Mr Wilson posted a review on Trust Pilot highlighting the problem.

He said "Bodley House Iver Heath is experiencing a serious infestation of Bed Bugs which we have been informing the housing manager of for 3/6 months without action and, despite them confirming this is the case some weeks ago NOTHING has been done regarding Fumigation required."

A spokesperson for L&Q said "We understand and feel your concerns about the situation and the impact it's having on residents. We're deeply sorry to hear about the bed bug infestation and the health issues it has caused, particularly for the elderly resident who was hospitalised.

"We are committed to providing a safe and healthy living environment for all our residents and we're taking your concerns about the lack of action regarding the infestation seriously. Rest assured we're investigating the situation further and we can confirm arrangements are in place for one of our contractors to attend."

They went on to say that they honestly appreciate Mr Wilson bringing this matter to their attention and will work diligently to address it.
