A historic choir, with King Charles III as Patron, is seeking new members.
The Windsor and Eton Choral Society, founded in 1836, is extending an invitation to singers of all backgrounds and abilities.
The group, known for performing at local venues with professional orchestras and soloists, is welcoming new members to experience its 'inspirational conductor' Tim Johnson and the 'warm welcome' of its existing members.
The society boasts of the benefits of joining the choir, including improving both physical and metal health, as well as being a social club, and making new friends.
The society has performed a wide range of choral classics at notable locations, including Eton College Chapel, Windsor Parish Church, and St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The society said it takes great pride in the calibre of its performances and rehearses at Eton College.
Any of the choir's rehearsals are open to prospective members who wish to visit.
The society also has two upcoming concerts, including the Family Carols with the Royal Academy of Music Brass Ensemble at the Eton College Chapel on 15th December, 2.45 pm.
The other concert is the Three Centuries of Great European Scared Music, at the Eton College Chapel on 11th January 2025, 7.30 pm.
More information can be found on choir's website, and those interested in joining should contact the choir by their email.
