The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Courts.

JAYDEN STEPHENS-THORN, 18, of Cresswell Road, Newbury, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating in Thatcham on February 2. He was given a community order to complete up to 18 days of rehabilitation activity and 60 hours of unpaid work. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
RICHARD TEMPLETON, 30, of Lesford Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to one count of drug driving in Reading on February 24 this year. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £307. There were no orders for costs.
MATTHEW GLENNON, 35, of Willow Street, Reading, pleaded guilty to one count of theft from a shop on September 3 this year in Shinfield after stealing meat and bottles of alcohol to the value of £157.14 from a Co-Op store. He was given a community order to complete up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity days. There were no orders for costs.
RHUAN GUIMAREIS, 18, of Idlecombe Road, London, pleaded guilty to obstructing/resisting a constable in the execution of their duty on September 23 this year in Slough. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months. There was a victim surcharge of £26.
SHAUN WANKLYN, 35, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class A drug in Maidenhead on May 26 this year. He was fined £1,000 and there was a forfeiture and destruction order made the drugs. There were court costs of £85.
ALEXANDER HAMES, 24, of Woodmoor, Finchampstead, Wokingham, pleaded guilty to one count of theft from a shop on May 29 this year after they stole food and alcohol items to the value of £84 from a BP store. They were given a period of conditional discharge for nine months and ordered to pay £84 in compensation. There were court cost of £85.
ZDZISLAW SOPIELA, 46, of Langley Road, Slough, pleaded guilty to drink driving on October 2 this year on the A4 Bath Road, Slough with 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 20 weeks and fined £150. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.
HEWIE BENNETT, 36, of Salisbury Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour on April 5 this year on board a train towards Theale Train Station. He was given a community order to complete 60 hours of unpaid work and was ordered to pay £200 in compensation. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
MATTHEW GLENNON, 35, of Willow Street, Reading, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted theft of an E-Scooter on April 20 this year. He was given a community order to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity and ordered to pay £15 in compensation.
