A car was discovered and seized following investigations into illegal poaching in the Thames Valley region.

Whilst patrolling the Slough and Maidenhead area on Sunday, November 3, a Suzuki Vitara was parked up in a local neighbourhood.

The vehicle, which is thought to be involved in illegal poaching, was seized by the rural crime taskforce as part of their investigations.

The team reported on social media that the vehicle was discovered by PC’s Dollery and Woolley as they patrolled the Slough and Maidenhead areas.

Investigations have been underway since last week when they received information about hare coursing and poaching in woodland areas.

The officers also searched a male under the Misuse of Drugs Act and cannabis was seized .

On Saturday, November 2, the taskforce was also on patrol in the West Ilsley area following reports of a red Subaru and a green Honda CR-V being involved in suspected illegal poaching/hunting activities.
