Care UK's Oak House, on Wexham Road, has partnered with a food bank to encourage donations of surplus non-perishable food items.
The initiative is part of the home's celebration of this year's Harvest Festival.
The drop-off point, located in the care home's reception, will be open until October 31.
Donations will be made to Slough Food Bank.
Agnieszka Klimkowicz-Buda, home manager at Oak House, said: "At Oak House, we are always looking for ways to give back and support our community and local charities, which is why we’re delighted to be partnering with Slough Food Bank and launching our first ever foodbank drop-off point.
"In these challenging times, we know many people may be struggling, and with Christmas fast approaching, it’s more important than ever to support foodbanks which provide a vital lifeline for many members of our local community.
"We’d encourage those who have unwanted or unused items to come and visit Oak House and support us to help those in need."
The food bank drop-off point is one of several Harvest Festival initiatives at Oak House this autumn.
The home recently welcomed children from Wexham Court Primary School for some intergenerational harvest fun, including autumn-inspired painting with residents.
A pumpkin carving workshop is also planned for later in the month.
Oak House provides residential, nursing, and short-term respite care, as well as specialist dementia care.
