New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Slough’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Elior UK at Northampton Place 82 Northampton Avenue, Slough; rated on October 29
• Rated 5: Karak Chaii at 241-243 Farnham Road, Slough; rated on October 25
• Rated 5: Church Street Cafe at Kingsway United Reformed Church Street, Slough; rated on October 18
• Rated 5: KFC at 75-77 Queensmere Road, Slough; rated on October 17
• Rated 5: Travelodge Slough at Travelodge Herschel Street, Slough; rated on October 17
• Rated 5: Cake Shop at 240 High Street, Slough; rated on October 10
Takeaways
And three ratings have been handed to takeaways:
• Rated 5: Nick's Fish & Chips at 16 Harrow Market, Slough; rated on October 17
• Rated 5: Smacks Slough at 163d Farnham Road, Slough; rated on October 11
