Following an initial consultation for BS1 and BS2 parking zones, over 500 emails and a petition of over 1,400 signatures were submitted, outlining dissent to the proposed scheme. Despite this, the scheme is moving forward, leaving residents feeling ignored.

I’m concerned that this breaches a level of trust between councils and residents – something we need to strengthen more than ever. Whilst I have no jurisdiction over the council or their decisions, as your local MP, that will not stop me from representing my constituents.
