A burglar has been jailed for two years after a targeted attack at a home in Slough.

Patryk Pabis, 32, of Granville Avenue, Slough appeared in Reading Crown Court on October 28 were he was sentenced to two years after pleading guilty in the same court on September 16.

He was charged with and pleaded guilty to one count of burglary dwelling and theft – no violence.

The incident took place at 9:10pm on December 9, 2023 when Pabis smashed the rear window of a property and stole a variety of jewellery from within.

The property is home to a 53-year-old man and a 81-year-old woman and is located on Lower Cippenham Lane in Slough.

The offender was given a non-custodial sentence after targeting the same address in September 2023.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Kirsty Taylor-Newman, of the Slough Priority Crime Team, said: “Pabis had targeted this address on a previous occasion and was found guilty and given a Community Order.

“He has then gone on to target his victims again with no regard to them and impact his offending has had on them.

“We are pleased with the result from court, and I would like to thank the victims for their unwavering support throughout the investigation.

“I hope that this prison sentence helps them rest a little easier, knowing that they have got the justice that they deserve.”
