Haringtons is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary in the hairdressing industry this November.

The salon group, considered one of the most respected in the UK, has been a staple in the hairdressing community since it was founded in 1984.

Starting as a 12-seat salon in Maidenhead, Haringtons has grown significantly over the last four decades.

Founder Robert Smith expanded the business by merging with salons owned by David Lambert, allowing the brand to become a recognised name across the Home Counties.

Now, Haringtons has salons in Amersham, Beaconsfield, Maidenhead, Marlow, Wendover, Winchester, and Wokingham.

A testament to their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, the brand has flourished over the years, becoming a hub of innovation and style.

Mr Smith said: "Our core is our people, and that includes our clients. That's who we are."

They are known for their community initiative, Haringtons Helps, which provides free Cut and Finish services to those in need.

This includes community leaders, dedicated volunteers, job seekers, and individuals recovering from chemotherapy.

Groups and individuals can be nominated for the programme, by filling out the form on the Harringtons website.

Their community involvement has fostered a strong bond between Harington's and the communities they serve.

Over the years, Haringtons has been recognised in numerous prestigious events such as the British Hairdressing Awards and the L’Oréal Colour Trophy.

The Sunday Times has also named them one of the Best Small Companies to Work For.

The manifesto includes rules such as 'create the perfect bouncy blowout,' 'the answer to split ends' as well as 'Harrington's guide to brushing your hair the right way.'

More hairstyling tips and tricks can be found on the company's blog, where all hair care subjects are covered.
