Car owners are being warned to lock their vehicles and remove anything on display following multiple thefts in Slough.
Officers from the Slough area were proactively patrolling on Humber Way and Tamar Way in Langley on Tuesday, October 30.
Residents who spotted police in these areas have been informed that they were checking for insecure vehicles and valuable items on display within cars, such a coats and bags.
These may tempt thieves to steal from the car.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “If you have been the victim of a crime or seen something suspicious please always report this to the police. If its not reported we don't know its happening so we cannot act.
“If a crime is happening now you can call 999. For everything else you can report this online or by calling 101.”
