Thames Valley neighbourhood policing team across Slough have had a busy week with an increasing number of arrests taking place for a variety of crimes.

Individuals throughout the town were arrested for attempted burglary and offensive weapons, a breach of a closure order which was issued at a home and two other arrests for numerous offences.

PCSO’s also participated in daily patrols on Slough High Street to increase visibility of local neighbourhood policing.

This included two stop and searches conducted on the street by officers.

During patrols and searches, two knives were found.

Alongside policing, the neighbourhood teams also take part in community events, including the ‘Have Your Say’ meetings.

Two community events took place in Slough this week.

The team also worked with a crew of the cadets to drop crime prevention advice around burglaries.
