With Halloween just around there corner, you may be thinking about which Autumnal or spooky events you can attend in Slough this week.

From pumpkin picking to ‘terror’ trials, here is what you can get up to ahead of Halloween on Thursday (October 31).

On Saturday (October 26), there will be a Halloween special event at Auto Body Technic in Saint Mary’s Road.

It will take place from 5pm to 9pm and will include drinks and food. Entry is £5.

Writing online, organisers state: “Another one of our highly anticipated evening events, it will be a great evening with Sting London entertaining us for the evening, Glassy Events supplying us with drinks and food is to be confirmed.”

On Monday (October 28), there will be a Halloween Party at the Wetherspoons pub – The Moon and Spoon – in High Street.

It will take place from 11am to 6pm.

Several pubs across the UK are taking park in the events and to complement the launch, Wetherspoon is introducing the limited-time-only ‘Tequila Thriller’, which the chain describes as ‘an electrifying cocktail pitcher.’

On the same day (October 28) until November 1, there will be a Halloween trial at the Black Country Park in Black Park Road.

Timings range throughout the day and tickets cost around £3.

The event is described as a ‘spooktacular event’. Online, organisers write: “Why not come dressed up and see if you can find all the hidden characters in the woods.

“There will be lots to see, from dastardly Dracula to creepy trees! Are you brave enough? Arm yourself with our trusty map and you will safely make it through the haunted woods.”

On Halloween itself, there will be a kids club full of creative activities for children to jump into. It will include creative hat decorating, face painting, and more.

It will run from 11am to 4pm outside Primark in the Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre.

All funds raised will go towards the Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Organisers write: “This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other families and enjoy a fun-filled day in the community, while also supporting a national cause.”

On Saturday (November 2), there will be a children’s Halloween party at The Royal Stags in The Green, Datchet.

Tickets costs £3 and the event will include a two hour party from 12.30pm.

The pub states: “This 2 hour party will be packed with entertainment, a Halloween themed party food box, unlimited juice to keep the thirst quenched and much, much more.”
