A historic organisation in our town is due to launch an exciting event very soon.
The Titanic Boat Train Heritage Trust is launching its membership at the Slough & Windsor Model Railway Exhibition.
A spokesperson for The Titanic Boat Train Heritage Trust posted on social media all the details of a new membership along with information on what is on offer.
The spokesperson said the following statement:
"This is a BIG weekend for the TBTHT, as we're launching our membership at the Slough & Windsor Model Railway Exhibition!
"Come along to find out more, or visit the all-new 'Membership' page on our website."
The Slough Model Railway exhibition will take place this weekend Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27. The day will run from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
The location of the event is at Burnham Park Hall, Windsor Lane, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, SL1 7HR.
The exhibition will feature layouts of different gauges and sizes, modelling demonstrations, traders, and preservation groups.
The event will also include play railways where children and youngsters (as well as adults if they are inclined to do so) can have a go at driving a model railway themselves.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day which will includes snack and drinks for little ones.
A fully licensed bar will also be operating throughout the day.
A completely free bus service will be running from Burnham Station where customers can enjoy a ride in a vintage vehicle.
