The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Courts.
KIMOY CHANG, 23, of Downmill Road, Bracknell, convicted of criminal damage to a front door to the value of £1,605 in Bracknell on January 11, 2024. Also convicted of assault by beating in Bracknell on the same date. Fined £556 and must also pay £1,605 compensation. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £222 victim surcharge.
HONEY SINGLA, 39, of Home Farm Close, Reading, convicted of two counts of drug-driving on the A4 Bath Road in Woolhampton on February 7, 2024. Found to have cocaine in their system. Also convicted of driving while disqualified on the same occasion. Given a community order to comply with 140 hours unpaid work. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Must pay £85 court costs and £114 victim surcharge.
SEBASTIAN SPRINGETT, 31, of London Road, Newbury, convicted of threats to kill in Newbury between March 31, 2023 to May 1, 2023. Also convicted of using violence to secure entry to premises in Newbury on June 11, 2023. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 180 hours of unpaid work. Made subject to a restraining order. Ordered to pay £85 court costs and £114 victim surcharge.
CHRISTINA MCKIE, 42, of Garrard Road, Slough, convicted of two counts of assault by beating in Slough on January 7, 2024. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Ordered to pay £26 victim surcharge.
KAMRAN LATIF, 46, of Field Road, Reading, convicted of failing to surrender to court custody in Reading on July 4, 2024. Also convicted of entering premises in contravention of a closure order in Reading on June 19, 2024. Fined £200.
BENJAMIN TAYLOR, 38, of Caversham Road, Reading, convicted of begging in a public place namely Broad Street, Reading, on July 2, 2024. Fined £100.
SHOHAIB BASHIR, 29, of Pitts Lane, Earley, convicted of sending multiple offensive messages overnight for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety in Reading on October 16, 2023. Fined £120. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity. Must pay £85 court costs and £114 victim surcharge. Made subject to a restraining order.
ADRIAN WLODARCZYK, 37, of Rochfords Gardens, Slough, convicted of drink-driving in Wellington Street, Slough, on January 6, 2024. Found to have 104mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, the legal limit being 85mg. Fined £400. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £280 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
JORDAN JOSEPH, 28, of Highfield, Bracknell, convicted of drug-driving in Mellor Walk, Windsor, on January 27, 2024. Found to have cannabis in their system. Fined £400. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £160 victim surcharge. 10 points added to licence.
