A musical comedian made famous by BBC 4's The Now Show is bringing his new comedy show to Norden Farm Centre.
Mitch Benn was resident comic songwriter for the BBC 4 show from 1999 to 2016.
He will be bringing his new stand-up show - The Point - to Norden Farm Centre for the Arts for a 7.30pm performance on Thursday November 28.
Tickets cost £19.
A representative for the arts centre said: "Like all those who spread mirth for a living, Mitch Benn has been wondering if he’s really making a difference. He’s asking if there is – yes – a POINT to what he – or anybody – is doing.
"The good news is he’s had a long hard think about it. Mitch has figured it out and he’s coming back to tell us all about what the POINT of comedy – and much else besides – might be…
"In addition to his work on The Now Show, Mitch has presented several series of his own show on BBC radio. Mitch has also appeared on celebrity editions of several TV quiz shows including winning Celebrity Mastermind in 2016.
"He is also a weekly columnist for The New European newspaper and has written three Science Fiction novels – Terra, terra’s World and Terra’s War."
