An interactive engineering adventure is coming to Slough.

Curious Investigators will be at The Curve on October 30 at 2pm.

The show, aimed at young scientists aged between three and seven, involves characters Scribble and Clipboard, who have the task of sorting recycling.

The plot thickens when Scribble discovers a mysterious egg in the rubbish, and the audience is called upon to assist in saving an unborn chick.

Created in collaboration with engineering experts from Lancaster University, the show aims to be highly visual and engaging.

The show is produced by One Tenth Human, a group that aims to empower children through imaginative storytelling.

Their productions often involve the audience as integral parts of the adventure, and their work has engaged with over 60 scientists and mathematicians as advisors and activity leads.

Their productions aim to change children’s understanding, confidence, and ambition.

Curious Investigators is the latest addition to their repertoire, promising to be a fun, educational experience for both children and adults.

The show is commissioned by Big Imaginations and supported by the Backstage Trust.

The event is programmed by Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, as part of a partnership with Slough Borough Council to develop The Curve as a key cultural community hub in Slough.

This event is also supported by public funding from Arts Council England.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £8 for under-16s, and £32 for a group of four.

They can be purchased from the Box Office at 01753 303035 or online at curvevenue.uk.

The show is part of an effort to foster a cultural and community hub at The Curve, providing a space for both local and visiting events.

This initiative is part of a broader partnership between Norden Farm and Slough Borough Council.

The Curve, located in Slough, has been hosting a variety of events as part of this initiative, with the support of public funding by Arts Council England.

Curious Investigators will be a unique addition to its calendar, promising a fun, interactive, and educational experience for young children.
