A kebab van could be on its way to serve revellers at a busy Windsor night spot.

Goswell Hill is known as an area for clubbing and nighttime revelry in the town, and is home to Labyrinth, The Boom, The Scotch and Fuzzy Bear cocktails and comedy.

Now a businessman wants to install a kebab van in Goswell Hill to serve clubbers looking for a late-night bite.

Photos show the van having Greek styling, serving up burgers, gyros, souvlaki wraps, halloumi and loaded fries to customers.

A design shows the van being decorated with a print-out of a statue of a discus athlete.

If the plan goes ahead, the van will serve hot food and refreshments from 11pm to 4am on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

In order for these sales to take place, the applicant requires a premises licence from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

An application had to be submitted as the sale of food and hot and soft drinks are licensable activity between 11pm and 5am at night.

Details of the submission state that the van will be removed from the site once service has ended.

You can view and comment on the application by typing reference 107247/LAPL01 into the Royal Borough's licensing portal.

The deadline for comments will be reached on Monday, October 21.
