The Met Office has released a fresh weather warning this week for Berkshire, which is due to see heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Some places will be missing the worst, but heavy showers and thunderstorms may cause some disruption, particularly to travel, later on Monday, October 7.
This comes as the whole county has recently been experiencing very wet weather, with the government releasing numerous flood warnings affecting Reading, Bracknell, and Slough.
So far there is only one current flood warning for Lower River Colne and Frays River.
No property flooding is expected, but flooding may continue to affect low lying land and roads, particularly in the Thorney Mill Road and Cricketfield Road areas, which may impact Riverside Mobile Home Park.
Areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms will move northwards across southern parts of England and Wales later Monday, clearing northwards overnight.
Some places will see 20-30 mm of rain within 2-3 hours, with a small chance that a few places could receive 40 mm.
Thunderstorms are most likely for south-facing coastal districts, and hail and some strong gusts of wind could accompany the heaviest showers and thunderstorms.
There is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water, and/or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus.
Some flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible and some short-term loss of power and other services is possible.
Delays to train services are also possible and perhaps damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes, hail, or gusty winds.
