A school has been named a lead school for music education in Slough.
The recognition for Langley Hall Primary Academy highlights the dedication of its music team and learning support assistants (LSAs) in delivering top-tier music education.
The academy was made a Music Mark school, due to the academy's commitment to providing a high-quality education.
The accolade was announced by Slough Borough Council.
The school will work alongside Chippenham Junior School and Langley Grammar School as fellow lead schools, aiming to bring a 'vibrant and enriched music education experience' to all the pupils.
The academy credited the award as 'a clear testament to the commitment, hard work, and passion that our music team and LSAs have put in ensuring the highest standards of music education for our children.'
The Music Mark is an organisation which advocates for excellent music learning and engagement accessible to pupils across the UK.
Formed in 2013, the organisation supports their members by offering training and resources, as well as connecting members to a wider music education network across the UK.
