Benches to offer 'help and hope' will be fitted across the Royal Borough, with plaques directing bereaved individuals to support services.
The plaques, provided by the Good Grief Trust, will be installed following a launch event at Windsor Castle, to mark the trust's eighth anniversary.
They will feature a QR code linking to more than 1,000 UK-wide support services and groups for those grieving.
The Royal Windsor Rose and Horticultural Society donated 10 plaques to the Royal Borough, supporting the 'sit with hope' initiative launched at the Royal Windsor Flower Show in 2023.
By placing the plaques on borough benches, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council aims to encourage more people to access bereavement support to protect their physical and mental health.
The first plaque was unveiled on a bench at the statue of the Irish Guard in Windsor.
Since June last year, more than 800 plaques have been fitted across the UK.
