A takeaway along one of the busiest roads in Slough has been given permission to keep operating later at night to serve hungry diners.
The Pepe's Piri Piri in Farnham Road is known for serving up tasty grilled and fried chicken, wraps, burgers and desserts to customers.
In the summer, franchisees Direct Foods applied to keep selling food until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 2am every other day of the week. That application has since been granted by Slough Borough Council's licensing department.
The grant of the application was confirmed by a council licensing officer.
A statutory consultation into the later hours closed on August 14 with no comments or objections being received.
Previously, Direct Foods was allowed to serve food and soft drinks until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1am during the rest of the week.
The eatery in Farnham Road opened in May last year. It is the second Pepe's Piri Piri in Slough, with the first being located in the High Street.
Pepe's Piri Piri is a halal-certified chain which has 164 restaurants and takeaways nationwide.
If an objection to a licensing application is lodged, councillors must decide on it at a meeting of its licensing applications sub-committee.
The committee has met only once this year, on Thursday, February 29.
