Blue Willow Nursery has opened its third location at Horlicks Quarter, Slough and Cllr Dexter Smith and Clare Thompson - Group Manager Early Education, were invited along to cut the ribbon.
Clare Thompson, explains “Throughout the years there has been an increasing drive to develop early years provision in central Slough to meet the needs of families living locally."
Working with Berkeley Homes to create a new nursery space at the Horlicks Factory has been an incredible and timely opportunity, particularly as the government announced plans to expand the early years funding entitlements in the Spring budget 2023.
Every child deserves the best start in life and attending a high-quality early years setting can have lifelong benefits for our youngest residents.
Ms Thompson continued: "Blue Willow Day Nursery and Berkeley Homes have collaborated to provide something that is much needed for Slough’s families."
