The deputy mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has been busying herself in the local community to show her support for important amenities.
Deputy mayor Mandy Brar recently joined a particularly special meeting of women from many different nationalities.
Earlier this month Councillor Brar visited an inaugural meeting of an international women’s group to hear about what they do and their connections to each other.
To commemorate the occasion, the deputy mayor Mandy Brar posted a photograph of herself at the event where she can be seen cutting a slice of cake.
In the background of the photograph several members of the international women's group can be seen posing for the picture, one of them clutching a bouquet of flowers.
Along with the lovely photograph, the following caption was posted to celebrate the occasion.
She said "Deputy Mayor Mandy Brar at inaugural meeting of an international women’s group."
