A man has appeared in court charged with murder and a range of other offenses following the death of a 23-year-old man in Slough.
Police were called to Rochfords Gardens on Wednesday in response to reports of a stabbing.
Frederick Mutala, aged 23 from Slough, died following the incident, police have confirmed.
Khalil Muhammad, aged 26 and of no fixed abode, has been charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug class B cannabis.
He has also been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance.
At Reading Magistrates' Court today, Mr Muhammad - wearing a grey sweat-shirt, grey trousers, and a black durag-style head covering - spoke only to confirm his personal details during the short hearing.
His solicitor, Jeffrey Muhammad, indicated that the 26-year-old denied all the charges at this stage.
Khalil Muhammad has been remanded into custody with his next court appearance expected to be at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday.
