A café and eatery chain along a busy road in Slough has won its bid to stay open until the early hours.
Chaiiology in Farnham Road opened several months ago serving up chai tea, hot and cold drinks, breakfast, street food and desserts to guests.
The chain boasts it is 'The King of Tandoori Chaii' and promises 'chemistry in every cup'.
The eatery's website states: "In Slough, there’s no better place to have halal Indian and Pakistani food than Chaiiology.
"Our cafe, which specialises in tandoori chai, is proud to provide real flavours that reflect South Asia.
"At Chaiiology, we consider eating to be a journey that satisfies the senses and uplifts the spirit, rather than merely a means of survival.
"Every meal we serve is a celebration of Pakistani and Indian culinary heritage since we are dedicated to using traditional cooking methods."
When it first opened in 2023, the cafe was only allowed to serve food and drinks until 11pm, as the franchisees require a licence for 'late night refreshment' to operate between 11pm and 5am.
The franchisees subsequently applied to keep selling food and drinks until 2am each night in an application to Slough Borough Council's licensing department.
Permission has since been granted for the late food and drink sales.
According to published opening hours, the operators have chosen to close at 1am on Fridays and Saturdays and at midnight from Sunday to Thursday.
Chaiiology took over a unit previously occupied by the Nationwide bank, which closed in October 2022.
