Changes to a busy fast food restaurant and drive-thru in Slough that is temporarily closed have been put on hold.
McDonald's is one of the most popular fast food chains in the country, and has a strong presence in Slough, with four locations in the town.
But the restaurant and drive-thru at the Bath Road Retail Park has been closed for just over a week for renovations.
The company's website states that the McDonald's closed on Monday, September 2.
The renovation project is set to last around nine weeks, with the restaurant and drive-thru set to reopen on Monday, October 28.
The latest news in planning terms is that details of materials used for the exterior and the installation of a new electricity kiosk have been withdrawn.
Earlier this year, McDonald's won approval for changes to the drive-thru and modest extensions to the existing building.
The changes form part of McDonald's 'Convenience of the Future Upgrade Programme' which typically includes a front counter redesign, a dedicated courier waiting area and entrance, a new kitchen design and an improved car park and drive-thru layout.
Justifying the changes, a spokesperson said they will "create a more enjoyable experience for our customers, delivery partners and restaurant team.”
You can view the changes by typing reference P/10334/024 into Slough Borough Council's planning portal.
The McDonald's in the High Street, Windsor Road and Telford Drive remain open.
