Police are working to locate the owner of a "suspicious" car that has been removed from the River Thames near Windsor after it was discovered submerged in the waterway earlier this week.
Fire crews from stations across the area and water rescue teams were sent to the scene in Stovell Road at 3:14pm on Monday, September 2.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews found a vehicle that was "completely submerged" in the river behind the Windsor Leisure Centre.

Thames Valley Police say that officers had been informed of "a suspicious vehicle" in the river, but officers do not believe that anyone was in the car.
Now the car has been removed from the river, according to police - but the owner remains a mystery.
A spokesperson from Thames Valley Police confirmed that officers are still working to locate the owner of the car.
The spokesperson said: "Our investigations are continuing."
