The oldest Cornish pasty maker in the world, Warrens Bakery, has just opened its newest store at Slough station.
The new store extends Warrens Bakery’s footprint in the travel sector even further, while continuing its journey East, where platforms will be filled with the aroma of freshly baked sweet and savoury goods.
Located on Platform Five, Warrens Bakery Slough was officially opened by GWR Station Manager, Mian Sarwar, Warrens Bakery’s Deputy Head of Travel, Shane Duheame, and Christabelle Rodrigues, Shop Manager of Slough.
The new store is the bakery’s 39th shop across the West Country, South Wales, and the South East.
Following the success of the recent openings at Bath Spa and Basingstoke train stations, Slough signals the continuation of plans for more Warrens Bakery stores in the travel sector as Cornwall’s oldest bakery looks to share the best of British baking alongside great coffee with the nation.
Established in 1860, Warrens Bakery has a rich heritage and is proud to put a firm focus on provenance, hand crafted skill, traditional favourites and innovation.
Famed for its iconic pasties as well as its speciality Cornish delicacies, crafted from fresh ingredients, Warrens Bakery caters for all tastes and times of day.
With its range of breakfast items, morning pastries, savouries, fresh sandwiches, plus cakes and fresh bean to cup coffee, they provide a perfect range for both commuters and family days out.
Customers will also be able to use Warrens Bakery’s digital rewards app.
