A 35-year-old man has been arrested following an assault that caused a people-carrier to swerve off the road and mount the kerb.

The incident occurred on Saturday, August 31 between 11:30am and 12:30pm on Farnham Road.

The driver, a woman in her twenties was headbutted by the offender causing injuries to her head.

The car was later parked dangerously in the Beaconsfield area.

The offender from Wiltshire was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on police bail until November.

Investigating officer PC Kasie Collet-Adams, said: “I’m appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
