Police have extended an order giving officers extra stop-and-search powers following a mass brawl involving weapons in the centre of town this weekend.
Thames Valley Police implemented a Section 60 order covering Slough town centre on Sunday - with the order now extended until 11:30pm today.
The order follows a fight between a group of men in Slough High Street, between 10.10pm and 11pm on Saturday night.
Officers arrived at the scene and arrested nine males aged between 16 and 26-years-old.
Seven of those arrested have now been released on bail until November, according to police.
Mamdouh Adam, 18, of no fixed abode, has been charged with one count of Section 20 grievous bodily harm and one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Qasim Hussain, 26, of The Frithe, Slough, has been charged with one count of actual bodily harm assault and one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Police have urged any potential witnesses to come forward.
Under Section 60 powers, stop-and-searches can be carried out by officers without "reasonable grounds."
People can be searched under these powers when senior officers reasonably believe that serious violence may take place in an area.
