A Burnham care home, Nicholas House, has successfully launched innovative rehabilitation services targeting older adults.
The event, on August 8, was attended by health experts and Age Concern representatives.
Guests were treated to a drinks reception, networking opportunity, and tours of Nicholas House, including its gym specially developed for the new physio services.
The new rehabilitation initiative includes at least two weekly in-house physiotherapy sessions, with additional sessions based on individual needs.
General Manager Michele Valimaa said: "At the heart of Nicholas House's philosophy is the belief, inspired by Sir Nicholas Winton, that everyone, regardless of age, deserves to live an independent life.
"This new service aims to support older adults in achieving just that."
Valimaa continued: "Nicholas House is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care that empowers residents to reach their fullest potential."
The service includes bespoke programs for various conditions, including fracture recoveries, falls, mobility loss, and neurological disorders.
